Fuko Chubachi

Founder / Creative Director

Born in Tokyo, Japan, Fuko Chubachi moved to New York City at the age of 24 to fast become a prolific art director with award winning projects for top artists and clients in music, advertising, and digital media. 

Fuko refined her talent during her 14-year career as Senior Art Director at Sony Music, working closely with the most celebrated recording artists that include Beyoncé, Mariah Carey, Barbara Streisand, and Bruce Springsteen. From concept to direction to producing countless photo shoots, album packages, and ad campaigns, Fuko’s signature sensibility and style continue to produce new and diverse work.

In 2013, Fuko became a co-founder for a technologically advanced digital magazine HEAPS in partnership with globally established Dai Nippon Printing Co.  As both Editor in Chief and Creative Director, Fuko managed its business development and created content with emphasis on experimental, visual communication.

Fuko launched Hachikin Creative in 2017 to offer her unique and comprehensive style toward art direction, design, and strategic branding.
